JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC is a professional design service established to provide client orientation, initial project research and preliminary design development. It is the intention of JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC to offer benefits to both the client(s) and the participating professionals (architects, engineers, etc.). Benefits to the client(s) shall include but not be limited to:

1. Initial project cost savings. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNSLLC shall explore project feasibility and project cost savings. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall explore project feasibility and startup service at a fraction of the cost of  similar professional services. 

2.      Determination of project feasibility. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall provide preliminary studies to determine the viability of a project including sighting, project size, style and type of structure, etc. 

3.      Preliminary design study. An acceptable project design (façade and floor plan) shall be developed as a primary part of the design package.                          

4.      Accessible services. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall provide initial assistance conveniently situated within the client’s own community. Local parties shall work together thus saving travel and meeting time for the client(s) and for the participating professional firm(s).  

5.      Client presentation package. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall provide a prepared package prior to retaining professional services. With this package, the project will be initialized at a savings to the client of both time and expenses. 

   Benefits to the participating professional architect(s) and/or engineer(s) shall include but not be limited to:

1.      An increase in the number of clients and associated projects. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC services will expand contacts with clients into areas that, by limitation of time and travel factors, the professional firms cannot serve.

 2.      Time on task. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC services shall offer considerable time savings by:

1. Initial client contacts.

2. Project initiation.

3.  Feasibility studies.

4. Design plan packaging including:

1. Elevation design.

2. Floor plan design.
3. Site planning (preliminary).
4. Client preparation. The client shall receive assistance within an orientation/familiarization format. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall provide the client with an introduction to the processes associated with client and professional architect/engineer relationship. Through JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC, the professional(s) shall receive a pre-prepared, better versed client.

   The initial project is prepared for professional development thus freeing further project time for the participating professional(s). Potentially, a greater number of clients can be served through initial JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC participation

STATEMENT OF POSITION AND DISCLAIMER:

   It is the sole intent of JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC to function in a capacity beneficial to both the client(s) and the participating professional(s). Initial project development shall constitute the primary services of this corporation.

   JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC, as the name denotes, shall function in a professional design capacity and in no way asserts any claim of professional status beyond preliminary design work. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC is, principally, a design based corporation and no professional architectural or professional engineering capacity is intentionally implied or intended. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall provide entry level benefits to both the client(s) and the professional participant(s) by introduction/orientation services, project feasibility studies, design plan preparations and packaging, etc. All activities of JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall fall under and comply with current guidelines for state and national DESIGN PLAN SERVICES. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall provide a design plan service for the exploration of a potential project and development of a design plan. The design plan shall consist of floor plan(s), elevations, roof plan, a window schedule and square footage calculations. These features, collectively, shall provide a basic package for the client. With this design plan package, project bids can be obtained and the project contractor(s) can be selected, co-related plans(plumbing, mechanical[heat, vent and air conditioning], electrical, etc.) can be developed by selected participating contractors and suppliers. Project financing can thus be negotiated. The design plan shall be composed of essential features of a project and shall provide basic information for construction. The design plan is intentionally reduced to essentials in order to contain project costs thereby saving time for the client(s). Placed into the hands of competent contractors and participating clients, the design plan shall serve as the only construction reference (start to finish) required for satisfactory completion of a project. Consultation with the project designer and the project contractor(s) shall give the client(s) direct input into selections of hardware, finish and trim materials, etc. This client-designer-contractor cooperation shall serve to consolidate efforts for project development.

   Clients shall benefit by the design plan package prepared on projects requiring the services of a professional architect and/or engineer. The design plan shall serve as a pre-plan package that will serve to pre-empt much of the professional conceptual phase of a project. The design plan shall reduce, considerably, professional costs normally incurred.

   A well developed design plan will substantially reduce time required on the project. Design plan packages will supplement and advance the work of professionals toward more essential roles as developers of construction and engineering plan details. Professional architects shall benefit, as stated, by out-of-office retention and pre-planning  services provided by the design plan phase and pre-professional plan package. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC services shall provide an additional source of clients and projects. This will, therefore, expand and generate contacts so as to increase the number of projects that would otherwise be unavailable to participating professional firms. Professional architects and/or engineers participating in this program shall benefit by being relieved of initial workloads associated with new projects. A design package prepared by JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC will allow the professional the opportunity to circumvent need for conceptual design exploration and initial plans development. Substantial work, therefore, can be initiated immediately toward actual development of a working project plan (construction, detail, engineering, etc.). This basic design plan package shall include but not be limited to the following:

1. A clearly outlined agreement to be entered into between the project designer as a representative of JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC and the client(s) representing exclusive one-time owner(s) and builder(s) of the project design. 

2.      A disclaimer clearly stating the position of the designer and the responsibilities claimed for services rendered by way of the project.

3.      An outline of the stages of the design project including the proposal stage, final design plan stage, final design plan revisions, construction phase services, a breakdown of the design plan project fees and additional costs of project services. 

SUMMARY:

   It is the intent of JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC to fill a viable position of transition between prospective clients and potential contractors and/or professional architects/ engineers. JERRY WAYNE DIXON DESIGNS LLC shall provide initial design services that will benefit clients and contractors through a complete project or will provide the client with project clarification in the form of a design package used to approach and communicate initial ideas to the professional architect and/or engineer.
